Everything at the campsite is a result of cooperation with ecologists in the endeavour to transform the karst landscape into accessible terraces full of Mediterranean vegetation surrounded by the blue sea and beautiful town beaches.
This year, in addition to the 8000 trees already planted, we have further enriched the campsite with 1001 new trees. Around 260 saplings and various Mediterranean plants were planted at the campsite last year, with over 700 in November and December, predominantly Mediterranean shrubs, such as oleander (Nerium oleander), pittosporum (Pittosporum tolara), laurel (Laurus nobilis), lavender (Lavandula officinalis), linden (Tilia), mimosa (Acacia dealbata) and many others.
In 2020, the Park Soline campsite will increase its investments in ecology and environmental protection by planting more than 1000 saplings and Mediterranean plants, thus turning the campsite into a genuine green park for you to enjoy from early spring to late autumn.
